# Connections

> Authorize calendar, email, and payments so booking, follow-up, and collections execute on the call and after.

Without Connections, the agent can answer from knowledge. With Connections, it can **book availability, send email, and collect payment** — on inbound, after outbound reminders, and from Desk Chat.

## Systems

| Connection          | Capabilities unlocked                                   |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Gmail**           | Desk Chat follow-up, Scheduler email reminders, Inbox   |
| **Google Calendar** | Live availability and booking on inbound                |
| **Stripe**          | Invoices and payment links — on-call or from Voice Desk |
| **Slack / others**  | Team alerts and Workspace actions                       |

Call tools are enabled under [Agents → Voice](/product/agents/voice). Reminder **calls** consume Voice capacity; reminder **email** requires Gmail. Also used by [Command Center](/product/workspace/command-center).
